MoreLourdes Melo of Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center was one of just eight winners nationwide to earn a 2020 Cintas Cleaning to Advance the Patient Experience (CAPE) Award. There were over 700 nominations for this award.
The CAPE Award recognizes outstanding EVS (Environmental Services) technicians working on the frontlines who display kindness, courage, and quality service. They are upbeat individuals who support the clinical staff and other members of their teams with adaptability and an unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of residents.
As a result of her hard work, Lourdes received $2,500 of her own, a $2,500 donation on her behalf to Pilgrim or charity of choice, a Rubbermaid® charging bucket, and other Rubbermaid products.
